The exhibition “Manuel Álvarez Bravo: Collaborations” brings together a selection of works that explore the career of this master of Mexican photography and will remain open through November 9.
On August 8, Fábrica La Aurora hosted the opening of the French Artists Exhibition, as part of the FASMA 2026 program, which this year welcomes France as its guest country of honor. The exhibition brings together contemporary art proposals exploring different techniques, artistic languages, and perspectives, including painting, sculpture, and graphic arts. The event brought together artists, collectors, special guests, and members of the public for a day dedicated to cultural exchange between Mexico and France. The exhibition is part of the festival’s visual arts program and is open to the public free of charge throughout its exhibition period.

La exposición «Manuel Álvarez Bravo: Colaboraciones» reúne una selección de obras que explora la trayectoria del maestro de la fotografía mexicana y permanecerá abierta hasta el 9 de noviembre.
El 8 de agosto, el Instituto Allende Casa Museo inauguró Manuel Álvarez Bravo: Colaboraciones, exposición que forma parte de la programación del FASMA 2026 y que permanecerá abierta al público hasta el 9 de noviembre. Ubicada en la sala Hamilton O'Neal, la muestra revisa la trayectoria del fotógrafo mexicano a través de sus diálogos creativos con figuras destacadas del arte del siglo XX, revelando distintas dimensiones de su legado y su contribución a la fotografía mexicana. La exposición, adaptada de Manuel Álvarez Bravo: Collaborations, presentada por el Des Moines Art Center, es organizada en conjunto con el Archivo Manuel Álvarez Bravo y el Instituto Allende. La entrada es libre.
