La Fiesta en honor a la Santa Cruz del Valle del Maíz se celebrará del 20 al 31 de mayo en San Miguel de Allende, con actividades tradicionales organizadas por vecinos y habitantes del barrio del Valle del Maíz. El programa incluye audiciones musicales, danzas, eventos populares y representaciones comunitarias que forman parte de una de las celebraciones con mayor arraigo en la ciudad.
Durante los días de fiesta, el barrio alberga actividades culturales, expresiones prehispánicas y celebraciones comunitarias que forman parte de las tradiciones populares más representativas del calendario local.

The streets of Valle del Maíz are once again filled with tradition
The festival brings together dance, music and tradition in one of the most historically significant neighbourhoods of San Miguel de Allende.
The festival in honour of the Santa Cruz del Valle del Maíz will take place from 20 to 31 May in San Miguel de Allende, with traditional activities organised by residents of the Valle del Maíz neighbourhood. The programme includes musical performances, dances, popular events and community performances that form part of one of the city’s most deeply rooted celebrations.
During the festivities, the neighbourhood hosts cultural activities, pre-Hispanic traditions and community celebrations that form part of the most representative folk traditions on the local calendar.
